We love seeing families out exploring North America together! Here, Escapees RV Club President, Travis Carr, enlists his son's help in setting up their RV at a campground. Check out this week's featured blog posts for more about RVing families!
It's A Family Thing

If you've been an Escapees member long enough, you've likely learned that we consider ourselves one big RVing family. Additionally, we know that our 70,000+ members include many families of all sizes!

Whether you're new to the road (welcome!) or you've been at it for several years, there is always something new to learn through experiences. In this issue of Escapees Member News, we're highlighting the advice and experiences our RVing families have shared with their fellow SKPs!
Winter Home Base
Three of these Winter Home Base events will be similar to our Escapees Hangouts, hosted by prior Hangouts attendees and hosts! To learn more about these events, including locations and approximate costs, click here.

There are still a few reservations available for our Winter Home Base events!. Just as the name suggests, we’ll be setting up home bases for Escapees members in parks in the most popular winter destination areas, the Southwest, Texas, and Florida. In accordance with our Safer-in-Place guidelines, we want to create a place for our members to ride out the winter months (Nov-Feb) together in a responsible way. We’re limiting the number of attendees to maintain smaller groups which can be properly distanced when together. The stay at any of the parks is a minimum of one month, but we encourage you to stay longer. When you have a good spot and friends, why move?

Winter Home Base will be a relaxed gathering of friends. We’ll plan a few activities during the week where we can safely meet up outside to catch up with one another and have some fun. As always, we want to make sure everyone is having fun while being safe. All CDC and Escapees guidelines will be followed. The rest of the time is yours to work, relax, and find new interests.

We are excited to bring this new idea for a group home base to you! We’re looking forward to seeing friends new and old and spending some quality time with them. Registration is now open, and spots are filling fast. Snag your spot today! Please note: our Texas and Florida Hangouts Home Bases are hosted in different campgrounds than our Xscapers Home Bases in the same states. Ensure you're signed up for the location and event you desire!

Not sure whether you would prefer an Xscapers or a Hangouts Home Base? One significant difference between the two is that all Xscapers events are designed with the working RVer in mind. This means that most activities are scheduled for late afternoons, evenings, and weekends so that those who need to work during the day don't get left out of the fun. On the other hand, because most Hangout participants either aren’t working or have very flexible schedules, those Winter Home Bases will often have activities during the workday as well as evenings and weekends.

Three of these Winter Home Base events will be similar to our Xscapers Convergences, with time set aside during the day for attendees to work and activities focused on the evening and weekends to allow for working RVers to join the fun! Click here to learn more about where these events are located, what costs to anticpate, and how to secure your spot!

Life Skills for RVing Kids

There are some unique life skills that your kids can learn through RVing. For Karen and her family, that’s a big bonus to hitting the open road with the family. In this article, she shares ways you can use your RV experience to teach your kids life skills, too!

Escapees Webinars- Organizing Your Digital Space

Is your digital work life a bit cluttered? Would you like to have your digital workspace more organized, but don’t know where to begin? We can relate.

Whether your daily commute is 30 miles or 30 steps in your RV, most people work on their computers today. Your tasks, communication, and team may be spread across the digital spectrum making it hard to keep organized and on track.

Dani Schnakenberg is going to share some tools with us for creating an organized digital workspace. You can now breathe a sigh of relief.

As a Business Systems Strategist, she helps entrepreneurs who want to ditch overwhelm to create a sustainable, fulfilling business through establishing boundaries and systems that work for them. After 10 years in entrepreneurship, she knows that it doesn’t have to be all about the hustle and grind. It’s the systems and processes that we build that allow us to build empires and live adventurous lives all at the same time.

When she’s not nerding out over workflows, spreadsheets, and analytics, you can find Dani traveling with her husband and five kids, taking in a baseball game, or playing the Sims. Get all of Dani’s best tips, tricks, and tutorials at simplifiedbusinesssystems.com.

Join us and Dani to whip your digital workspace into shape!

The webinar will be broadcast live on the Escapees RV Club Facebook page Wednesday, September 2nd at 8:00 pm Eastern/5:00 pm Pacific. The recording of the webinar will be uploaded to YouTube channel and our archive in the weeks following the live broadcast.
