A Community of Many Individuals
Our favorite part of adventuring outdoors is that there is something for everyone. Whether you prefer tent camping or RVing, you're bound to find a favorite destination, beautiful sunrises and sunsets with friendly campers along the way full of advice, ideas, and stories of their own. To help you find even more to enjoy about your fellow RVers, we've included a few resources below. Let's get out and welcome others to the road!
Birds of a Feather Flock Together
One of the benefits our members most treasure is the sense of community and family they feel with their fellow Escapees members (SKPs). To help you connect with other RVers who share your interests and characteristics, we encourage you to explore the various Birds of a Feather (BOF) groups fellow members have created! Here a just a few of the many available, as described by their organizers:
Stonewall BOF- Welcomes all gays, lesbians, bis, trans and their friends. An informal group, we gather at Escapades, at Pride events and at Quartzsite, Arizona, in January. Communication is online, so we can meet each other as travels allow. Free to join/no newsletters, just good times with great people!
Nomadic Families- A group formed to bring RVing families together to share ideas and information about our lifestyle. It’s also a place to make friends and lasting memories. Our mission is to promote exploration and freedom to see the world on our terms, while still maintaining a form of “village,” or community.
Christian Fellowship- The Christian Fellowship BOF is a gathering of Escapees believers drawing together members of the Body of Christ to form a mobile church without walls. We enjoy fellowship and fun, worship and spiritual growth, and serving local communities. We pray for and encourage one another in the way of the Lord while not focusing on denominationalism.
SOLOS- A certified BOF whose purpose is to share information and camaraderie among Escapees who travel as singles. Memberships are $10 per year and include the newsletter, annual membership directory, and one SOLOS BOF
decal.

Virtual Wednesdays- Rig Tours
If you've strolled through the campground and wondered what the interiors of others' RVs looked like, this event is for you!
David and Cheryl Goldstein host as Escapees members invite you into their homes on wheels for interactive tours during this live Facebook event.
Rig tours are a popular activity at Convergences, Hangouts and other Escapees events. They're a great way to see various types of RVs, floor plans, and adaptations their owners have made for real-world living.
To join us, set yourself a reminder to head to the Escapees Facebook page at 7:00 PM Central time on Wednesday, June 24th. See you there!
