Do you know about our Good Neighbor Policy?
Camping season has begun and RVers are excited to be out and about. While some stay in RV parks and campgrounds, others like to go further out into nature and boondock at primitive campsites on public lands. Many stay in business parking lots and other overnight options while traveling from one place to the next.
We know many of you are on your way to Escapade and we can't wait to see you! We hope you've been able to stay in your typical overnight spots on the way (because they are still open to use).
Here at Escapees, we emphasize that being a good RV neighbor is key to making your RV trip successful and enjoyable for everyone. We know you would never set up camp in a Walmart parking lot or dump your waste tanks and trash while you're parked overnight at Cracker Barrel. Thank you for that!
Our hope is that our Good Neighbor Policy has made its rounds and other RVers know about overnight parking etiquette. If not, feel free to safely encourage other RVers to treat these spots with care so we can continue to use them as we travel.

It’s Time to Update Your Escapees App!
We’ve added more functionality to your Escapees mobile app. Now you can search for exclusive discounts and vendors right from the app in the Commercial Directory. The Discount Parks Directory is also available to search in the app even allowing you to find discounted RV parks near your location!
You can also choose to receive push notifications for important information. This is great for everyone to keep up with your membership and announcements but has even more benefits if you’re managing your mail account from the road.
Notifications include:
·Unexpected office closures
·Membership and mail renewal reminders
·Mail scans
·Mail sent
·Package received
·Low postage amount
To receive these new benefits, update your app in your app or play store. The link below will take you to the app page with links to both stores. When you log back into your app after updating, you’ll be asked if you want to receive notifications.* Just click accept and you’ll be good to go!
*If there are two members on an account, the first person to log into the updated app will see the notification request. Their answer will apply to the whole account. Individuals can then go into their settings to configure notifications for their own phone if desired.

Seminars: Our seminars cover a variety of topics from where to travel with your RV to how to effectively extend the life of your RV through DIY maintenance. More examples include how to boondock, how to stay healthy while RVing, fire safety in an RV, cooking in an RV, using solar power, and even tips on RV insurance and health insurance!
Entertainment: The live music and other entertainment at Escapade is always top notch! This year we have FinalEyes, The Williams Brothers Band, Atlas Falls, and the Status Crowes. SmartWeigh: After Escapade we give attendees the opportunity to have their RV, towed vehicle, and tow vehicle weighed to make sure they are not overweight. Our SmartWeigh system provides critical RV weight safety and load management information in a highly accurate and usable format. We weigh individual wheels to provide the most accurate readings. Our staff is highly trained, and our high-quality scales are tested annually for accuracy. This gives you the best and most accurate experience for weighing your RV. In addition, you
receive a one-on-one consultation to review and explain your results and provide suggestions for correcting any imbalances. You can just sign up when you get to Escapade!
RVers Boot Camp: Prior to the start of Escapade, attendees have the option to learn more about RVing in a classroom setting. Spend three days with our industry experts with decades of RVing experience and you’ll learn about tire and weight safety, basic RV systems, fire and life safety, proper towing techniques and much more. Take advantage of the classroom environment to connect with fellow RVers. All you have to do is add RVers Boot Camp when you register for Escapade or call 936-329-6499 to add it.
Marketplace: You will find a host of vendors offering many RV related products and services to fit your RV lifestyle (including RVs to purchase). The representatives at each booth are happy to answer your questions and get you set up with whatever you need for your RV.
Social Time: Escapade gives you the opportunity to meet other RVers who are just like you! We have multiple socials, activities, and happy hours on the schedule that are meant to bring attendees together. From the SNEAK (Saturday Night Early Arrival Kickoff) Party for early arrivals to pickleball, after parties, card games, and more you'll have plenty of opportunities to find your people!
