In 1978, Kay and Joe Peterson founded Escapees RV Club, and used newsletters such as the issue above to keep members in touch and updated on club news. With their ultimate goal of creating a community for RVers, this newsletter was vital. Since then, it has grown into our beloved Escapees magazine. Check out the September/October issue on the member website!
Securing A Future for RVers

It's been our goal since 1978 to serve as a support network for all RVers. Whether you're a weekend warrior or full-time RVer, we want to enable all who are interested to share in this lifestyle we love.

Over the last four decades (and more), Escapees has developed a host of educational resources, community event programs, and a discount program that covers both important services and products as well as overnight camping options. We have also taken on vital advocacy issues in order to protect the rights of all RVers.

In addition to these benefits, we work hard to seek out and establish relationships with trustworthy and reliable providers of legal counsel and financial advice, helping RVers with a number of questions and concerns that arise in their travels.

All of these pieces work together to create a network of support for our members, both of peers and of professionals. If you haven't already, we encourage you to tap into this network and make the most of your Escapees membership!
Membership Dues to Increase November 1
As you know, Escapees RV Club membership dues have remained at a very low $39.95 for many years. For us to continue to offer the quality of service that Escapees RV club is known for we need to make a small increase in the dues -our first since 2015 - from $39.95 to $49.95 effective November 1st.

This increase was originally planned to happen earlier this year, but with the events happening around the country and world, we put it off for as long as we could. This increase will help us ensure that we can continue to provide you with the service, benefits, advocacy, and community that you have come to expect from Escapees RV Club.

As a thank you for your support over the years, you may renew your membership for 1-3 years at the current rate of $39.95 before the new rate takes effect on November 1st.

Upcoming Events
Our popular Head-out Program, better known as HOP, includes excursions with fellow RVers that target unique locations, special events, and theme-related activities to create fun-filled and memorable adventures. The Club does all of the work—planning the itinerary; making reservations for campgrounds, restaurants and tours; and organizing many of the meals. All you do is register, then show up!
Big Bend Area
Winter Home Base HOP

February 1- March 2, 2021

The Escapees RV Club will be making your winter dreams come true with a new type of event called Winter Home Base as a way we can travel and still socialize while staying safe in the winter months; preferably somewhere you can enjoy the outdoors!

The Winter Home Base HOP will be a relaxed gathering of friends. The HOP host will organize a few activities each week where you can safely catch up with one another and have fun. The rest of the time will be yours to relax, discover the Big Bend area, and make new friends.
