We'd love to extend a very big congratulations to Rob and Laura Kernodle, our Special Events Managers for Escapade, as well as Jean and Duane Mathes, our Escapade Assistants, for such a successful event in Tucson this year! We know there are hours of work that goes into the largest Escapees event of the year. Thank you!
And we can't forget the huge crew of volunteers and National Staff who come to Escapade and help make it run so smoothly. From parking and getting members checked in to building stage backdrops and making sure microphones are working, you make it look effortless. Thank you all so much!
Finally, a special thank you to all the Escapees members who came out to Tucson to support your favorite RV club! You are the reason we put on this special event.

Balloon Fiesta HOP
Oct. 3 - 12, 2025
The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is pure magic in the sky!
Wake before dawn, coffee in hand, as hundreds of vibrant hot air balloons float over the Sandia Mountains, painting the horizon with color. It’s an experience like no other!
The magic begins with the Dawn Patrol, as balloons gently glow in the predawn sky. Then, the show-stopping Mass Ascension fills the air with hundreds of balloons waving national flags.
Adding to the fun are whimsical special-shaped balloons, from Smokey Bear to Darth Vader and the adorable Bumblebee family, whose Velcro hands let them “hold hands” midair!
As night falls, the Balloon Glow turns the field into a twinkling wonderland—a must-see spectacle!

Iceland's Magical Northern Lights HOP
October 13 - 19, 2025
Embark on an Icelandic adventure in the land of fire and ice, where steaming lava fields meet towering glaciers, crafting breathtaking views of waterfalls, fjords, and black-sand beaches.
Begin in Reykjavík, Iceland’s lively capital visiting the harbor, city hall, Parliament, and historic cathedral. Dine on Icelandic specialties before setting sail across Faxaflói Bay for a northern lights cruise.
Journey along the Golden Circle visiting the Geysir thermal area, the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, and Thingvellir National Park, where you’ll straddle the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Later, explore the Lava Exhibition Center and walk behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall.
The adventure continues at Reynisfjara beach, with its volcanic sands and basalt cliffs, then the Skógar Museum and Skógafoss waterfall, capped by a visit to Sólheimajökull Glacier. Discover Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon in Vatnajökull National Park, where icebergs and seals await.
