Ready for More Xscapers Convergences? |
|
 |
Start planning your summer and fall travels with stops in Salida, Colorado, Bishop, California and Las Vegas, Nevada!
Last week, we announced to Xscapers that the now-annual Fourth of July Convergence is heading back to Salida, Colorado for a week of festivties and fun! You can learn more about this Convergence on the Xscapers website.
Also, two Convergences have been added to the calendar, keeping Xscapers rolling into the fall months. First, we’ll make a stop mid-September in Bishop, CA. Located on the travel famous 395, you can make Bishop your destination after Yosemite or Alabama Hills! Expect mountains of fun at this Convergence.
Xscapers will once again converge in Las Vegas for Halloween! We are excited to show Vegas that Xscapers know how to live it up. There will be fantastic costumes, lots of outings, and ridiculous amounts of revelry. Get ready, Xscapers, you won’t want to miss this.
We’re over-the-top excited as we plan our travels from Arizona up to Salida, jumping over to Bishop, and then veering toward Las Vegas. Join us along the way for more fun and friends than should legally be allowed!

Advocacy Update Regarding South Dakota |
|
 |
Senate Bill 124 and House Bill 1232 are Dead!
We are happy to announce that the South Dakota Senate State Affairs Committee and the South Dakota House State of Affairs Committee voted to defer SB 124 and HB 1232 to the “41st legislative day.” Since there cannot be more than 40 legislative days in a session, this is a simple way to kill a bill.
Special thanks to Escapees members who contacted their representatives opposing these bills, and to Senator Castleberry for reaching out via email over the holiday weekend to confirm that the bills are dead.
-Jim Koca, Escapees Advocacy Director |
