Theresé (TJ) and Peter, her husband, joined Escapees in 2017 for the education benefits the club provided to help them transition RV life. In 2019 they hit the road. Inspired by the Florida Homebase hosts in 2020/2021, they thought it would be fun to host a Hangout.  Since then, Theresé has been involved with several Hangouts never realizing it would lead to becoming the steward of the program. You may have met Theresé through yoga at many Escapees events.  She hosts the yoga BOF, writes yoga and RVing articles for Escapee Magazine, and with Peter coordinates Escapade’s Escapees Got Talent show.

Theresé will take over the Hangouts program in April 2023 when Cheryl and David Goldstein retire.

She and her wife, Marni Pearlman, have been Xscapers since December 2017 after a few months of being on the road full-time. Xscapers changed their experience of RV life and helped them find the community on the road they were missing.

The goal of putting together events in interesting locations and diverse activities for the Xscapers community is an opportunity that Julie finds challenging, exciting and provides the ability to contribute to an organization that has provided years of unforgettable experiences. And who wouldn’t want a job helping to plan week long parties for friends?!

Wendy has been traveling in RVs since she was very young. Her parents showed her the way to travel in an RV with boats and sand rails in tow, going to lakes to water ski, mountains to snow ski or spending time in the Sand Dunes of Glamis.

Wendy has been a member of Escapees since 2019 and has attended several events including  HOPs, Hangouts, Convergences, and Escapade. She has also led HOP rallies and has worked with the Show Team in the booth at Quartzsite. She has traveled through 22 states in her lifetime and intends to visit every state. She loves the club so much, she has joined the Escapees staff as the Director of Chapters and Birds-of-a-Feather groups (BOFs), helping to further build and support our community of RVers.

Though we are excited and eager to see  the Chapters and BOFs programs grow with Wendy's support, we will greatly miss Lockie and Jimmy Sailer and the passion and humor they brought to this role. During the six years they worked as co-directors of the Chapters and BOFs, we saw the onboarding of several new BOF groups, a rejuvenation of the annual happy hour gathering in Quartzsite (now Party on Plomosa), and a new energy in the ROW at Escapade each year. 

We are grateful for their contributions to the club and our community of RVers. We hope to see you down the road, friends!

Winter Blast Convergence
February 13-20, 2023
Join your fellow Xscapers for a low-key gathering in Lake Havasu where we have snagged a designated parking area for the 2023 Western Winter Blast at the SARA Park Rodeo Grounds in Lake Havasu City, AZ.  The week will be filled with live music, social gatherings, and epic fireworks displays. This is a dry camping event with limited availability.

62nd Escapade

After a busy week at Escapade, let’s get together for a fun, friendly shooting competition! This HOP will give you the opportunity to participate in safe gun–handling skills, in a competitive yet friendly environment. There will be two classes of competitions: revolver and semi-auto. You may choose revolver, semi-auto, or both.

Eastern Caribbean Cruise HOP
April 7-17, 2023

Xscapers AZ Wine Country Convergence
April 15-22, 2023
Join your hosts Dave and Jacqueline Hudson for a laid-back convergence in beautiful Sonoita, AZ.  This is a small event with plenty of opportunities to connect with your fellow Xscapers.  The week will be filled with winery hops, multiple live music performances, a local brewery take over, and plenty of other fun activities to participate in.
