“As I compiled the last magazine issue of this year, I can’t help but reflect on my tenure as editor of Escapees magazine and how the publication has evolved substantially since it’s meager beginning as a five-page newsletter in 1978. So many changes
have occurred over the years and many people have played a role in bringing the publication to where it is today.
Change can be challenging; however, without change there can be no progress. Keeping this in mind, I look forward to a continuing evolution for the betterment of the magazine Escapees members have come to know and love.
As we move into the holiday season, I wish everyone safe
and exciting adventures and, most of all, happy holidays!”
