Where do you go for the Winter?
Do you chase the sun and warmer temperatures during the winter or do you love to spend winter in the snow and cold?
Many RVers head south for the winter to Florida or Arizona, to name a couple, so the thought of being around snow and cold temperatures doesn't excite them. They'd rather be walking out their door onto a beach or desert trail so they can soak up as much sun as possible. But other RVers love to get in their RV and travel to snowy landscapes to ski, snowboard, snowshoe, and more!

Xscapers Annual Bash is Gonna Be Out of This World!
January 11-19, 2025, prepare for an eight-day celebration like no other, as the Xscapers commemorate ten years of adventure, camaraderie, and interstellar fun.

Party on Plomosa!

The Escapees Quartzsite Happy Hour is a long-standing tradition, and this year we look forward to continuing to bring a lively atmosphere and activities to Party on Plomosa.
The Escapees event trailer, known as Freedom One, will be center stage hosting one of Escapees’ favorite community bands, The Status Crowes. So come dance, sing along, and enjoy some food on us while you reunite with old friends and foster new connections with your RVing community. Don’t worry, we’ll have porta-potties onsite, too. Sometimes, it’s the little things that matter!
Don’t miss out on the national Escapees gathering in Quartzsite, Arizona. Bring a chair, grab a beverage, and invite a friend to the Party on Plomosa from 2pm-5:30pm on January 22nd!

NEW! Iceland's Magical Northern Lights HOP
October 13 - 19, 2025
Embark on an Icelandic adventure in the land of fire and ice, where steaming lava fields meet towering glaciers, crafting breathtaking views of waterfalls, fjords, and black-sand beaches.
Begin in Reykjavík, Iceland’s lively capital visiting the harbor, city hall, Parliament, and historic cathedral. Dine on Icelandic specialties before setting sail across Faxaflói Bay for a northern lights cruise.
Journey along the Golden Circle visiting the Geysir thermal area, the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, and Thingvellir National Park, where you’ll straddle the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Later, explore the Lava Exhibition Center and walk behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall.
The adventure continues at Reynisfjara beach, with its volcanic sands and basalt cliffs, then the Skógar Museum and Skógafoss waterfall, capped by a visit to Sólheimajökull Glacier. Discover Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon in Vatnajökull National Park, where icebergs and seals await.

It is easy to get caught up in the fantasy version of living on the road, aka the Instagram version. There are countless influencers working for RV and van manufacturing companies, clothing lines, camping products, travel companies, etc., that hop in their retro-painted tiny home on wheels for a week or two, drive up the coast, and snap a few pictures of their seemingly amazing and carefree life.
They know all the perfect #hashtags and @mentions to show the Insta-world how cool this lifestyle is. And it is cool. But this highly edited version of road life is misleading and gives folks a false sense of reality of what living on the road is truly like.
