It's That Time Of Year!
Fall is in the air and many Escapees are traveling east to see the beautiful autumn leaves or to New Mexico for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. It's also the time of the year where some RVers are preparing to head south for the winter.
Whether you're a snowbird or a full-time RVer, the trip south to warmer weather is one to look forward to and the possibilities are almost endless. Do you choose Arizona, Florida, Texas, California, or even Mexico? Some stay in one place the entire winter and others choose to bounce around to different locations. Some choose to stay in RV parks, and some choose to boondock. There's such a variety of ways to "do winter" in warmer places. What's your favorite?

"Since I was a kid, I’ve always had a nomadic lifestyle. As an adult, I’ve lived in five different countries and explored over 75. In 2020, I sold my house in Texas and jumped into RV life, bringing along my dog and two cats. And what a wild ride it’s been! Along the way, my little zoo has grown to include another dog and cat. Two years in, while broken down in Tennessee, I met my partner, Jerod who has recently joined me on the full-time journey. From the pure excitement of the open road to those unforgettable moments—like breaking down on the way to Bash and needing a new truck—every event has only added to the adventure.
Throughout my travels, I realized that my true passion lies in finding ways to build and add value to the RV community. Now, as I step into the role of Convergence Director, I’m excited to take on this new chapter. I know I have big shoes to fill, but I’m ready for the challenge. I can’t wait to meet all of you, hear your stories, and contribute to this amazing community."

perform trick riding, precision drills, and amazing rope tricks. Balloon Fiesta HOP

From its humble beginnings in 1972, the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta has grown into the largest balloon festival in the world, with its 365-acre Balloon Fiesta Park and a launch field the size of 54 football fields (78 acres).

Led by a panel of instructors with decades of RVing experience, RVers Boot Camp walks you through everything you need to know to maintain and operate your RV safely. Spend three days with our industry experts and you’ll learn about tire and weight safety, basic RV systems, fire and life safety, proper towing techniques and much more.
Take advantage of the classroom environment to connect with fellow RVers. Experience shared learning through interactive questions during lessons and review the day’s instruction with your peers during social gatherings and community meals.
