🌳Today is Earth Day!
Many of us are full-time RVers and utilize free, off-grid camping options on National public lands such as Bureau of Land Management and National Forest areas. It is in these places we follow the RVers Boondocking Policy and vow to leave only footprints and take only memories.
At our events, we will often be found holding clean-up activities either as a scheduled or impromptu activity. We've cleaned up beaches, campgrounds, hiking trails, and more because we want to leave where we travel better than we found it.

RVers Boot Camp Graduates: This BOF is for SKPs who have graduated from Escapees RV Club Boot Camp or Beyond RVers Boot Camp and want to maintain a connection with other graduates. The goal is to promote safety and education for graduates of the programs. A monthly maintenance tip will be sent out to each member of the BOF. To join this BOF send your name and email address, year and location of the Boot Camp you attended. Please email Jim Koca at bootcampbof@harvesthosts.com.

Plein Air BOF: For artists, painters etc. who seek the camaraderie of other painters while they are on the road in their RVs. We will try to meet weekly or bi-weekly at various locations as time and weather permits. We will also have an in-person meeting a few days after the painting session where we can present our paintings, explain what inspired us about the scene and how we go about the painting process. The rest of the group will provide positive critique aimed at helping the individual artist grow. No one has to present and a good deal of time afterwards can be spent chatting and discussing the painter on the road. Please email Gordon Wilson at gswinc57@gmail.com.

Tiffin BOF: This is a casual group open to Escapees who own a Tiffin RV (any type) and are interested in sharing their Tiffin stories, updates, experiences and attending an annual event in Red Bay, AL. The annual event may include local excursions, fellowship and on-site & off-site services. There's no cost to join. All costs for events and services will be the responsibility of the individual BOF member. Whether it’s tips for service, discussing challenges, or simply asking questions, this BOF is designed for Tiffin RV owners. We will communicate via email and/or a private Facebook group and members are free to meet or plan their own get-togethers. To join, email tiffinbof@gmail.com for an application.

Balloon Crew RVers: For at least 20 years, Escapees members have attended the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta through various groups - Boomers BOFs, HOPs, Xscapers, Solos, etc. This new BOF will expand the geographic areas for those interested in crewing for hot air balloon pilots at a variety of festivals in addition to AIBF. This informal group (no dues or officers) publicizes and encourages volunteer crewing for pilots at hot air balloon events around the country, with the main Escapees BOF gathering for crewing at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta every October. Members will also be connected with balloon pilots/festivals needing volunteer crew at other events and will receive ongoing safety training through the BOF.
