Escapees Member News- Thank You, Veterans

Every November 11th, our Nation recognizes the freedoms our Military Veterans bestowed upon us through selfless service and sacrifice; including our freedom to travel. As Escapees and Xscapers, it is also our mission to recognize and show appreciation to those who served our Country.

Our Escapees membership numbers include thousands of Military Veterans who gave much of their time to serve in our Country's Armed Forces. Even though they no longer serve in the military, they've remained as nomads but now, in as full-time RVers.

One of our veterans, Lisa Brown, reached out to fellow veterans to learn more about them, and share that information with you!

Does your RV’s style and function fit you? Would you like to make it more your own?

We’re bringing together a panel of RVers who have all renovated their RVs in different ways. Kitchens, kids’ rooms, and more are all on the table for a refresh from these DIY RVers. We’ll discuss their renovations (with pictures!) and allow for questions to help you get started on your own projects.

Join us Wednesday, November 11 and start dreaming about what you can do to make your RV feel like home! The conversation starts at 7:00 PM Central on the Escapees RV Club Facebook page.

There are many active duty, military veterans, and Gold Star families that enjoy RVing. One of the things many of us veterans miss once we are out of the service is that camaraderie we had, lending a helping hand, and leaving no one behind or forgotten. We can continue those positive traits in the Military, Veterans, and Gold Star Families Birds of a Feather group.

The purpose of this BOF is to provide military, veterans, and Gold Star families the opportunity to continue with food, fun, fellowship, and camping/RVing with others that have or still are serving, in the United States and Canadian Armed Forces. To help our fellow veterans, men and women in uniform, and Gold Star families.
