Struggling to Find Campsites?

If you've been on the road long enough, you may remember how easy it was to plan your RVing route on the fly, booking a campsite the same day or, at most, a day or two ahead.

With the boom in RV sales and travel comes a boom of people using the same campgrounds you love, making it harder to snag a spot on the fly. In this issue of Member News, we share some suggestions for alternatives to your typical RV parks!
Your Member Benefits Come in Handy!
To help you find more of those overnight spots needed as you travel from point A to point B, we've rounded up several of your member benefits that increase the options available to you!

You may already be familiar with our discount parking directory, a program where we've teamed up with hundreds of RV parks and campgrounds across North America to offer savings as you explore.

Another way to access this directory is by using Escapees Maps, a mapping tool created to help you plot your route and see what discount options are along your path.

Know what else you'll find on Escapees Maps? Overnight parking with SKPs! When you access the mapping tool from your member dashboard, you can use the "Overnight Parking" filter to see opportunities for free or low-cost parking offered by your fellow SKPs.
Harvest Hosts

When you're looking for an overnight visit to an interesting place, give Harvest Hosts a try! They have a directory of more than 2000 places where you can stay for the night at a winery, museum, brewery, farm, golf course, or one of many other fun options. Your accommodations are free, though you may find yourself instead spending those funds on a tasting adventure, visiting the museum, or otherwise enjoying your unique surroundings! Don't forget, Escapees members can save 20% off a one-year membership!

Boondockers Welcome

Boondockers Welcome is another option for those overnight stops as you travel from point A to point B. Offering free overnight parking on private property, Boondockers Welcome opens up numerous opportunities for you to check out new-to-you locations, meet fellow RVers, and rest easy for the night knowing you're somewhere safe!

Click the button below to learn how to access these discounts and more through your Escapees membership.

Days End Directory

Did you know there is a directory of parking options available exclusively to Escapees RV Club members?

For $15 USD ($20 CAD), The Days End Directory contains free and low-cost RV parking locations, overnight or longer, reported by and for members of the Escapees RV Club. The Directory has over 1000 pages of listings in almost every US state and Canadian province.

With several ways to access the information from the road, the Directory is a great resource for little-known and off-the-path parking options for Escapees members! Read more about the directory here: Days End Directory

From the Community

Boondocking is camping at a site that has zero hookups. No water. No power. No sewer. And more often than not in an uncrowded spot on public land. Though this isn't everyone's preference, for those who enjoy getting off the beaten path, the opportunities are endless! Take a look to learn Marshall's advice for finding the best spots.

How do you find the best budget-friendly RV camping for you, your rig, and equipment? RVer and fellow Escapees member, Carrie, shares her favorite resources for camping on a budget!
Working In Exchange for Campsite
If you have some time on your hands and an eagerness to stay busy while you're RVing, you may want to give workcamping or camp hosting a try! This approach to RVing typically involves working a few hours a week for several weeks or a few months in exchange for a free or discounted campsite (and sometimes additional pay).

If this sounds interesting to you, take a look at the RVer Job Exchange and see if one of the open positions there is appealing! You'll find office/reservation positions, openings for groundskeeping, maintenance, and more.
